During the pandemic of 2020, we found ourselves spending more time outdoors, specifically walking in our creek. I've always had an interest in geology and Garnett likes to hunt for artifacts so we were quite happy with our pandemic activity. We started finding really cool fossils and geodes and I kept thinking about how much kids would also enjoy doing this. One thing led to another and here we are with a 30' sluice I like to call Mr. Gemmy, a shop full of rocks, and a sandbox full of kids. I can honestly say that this is the best job I've had. I literally witness joy everyday.
